That half hour is worth knowing in advance. If it is serious, call 1669 rather than drive: the ambulance can begin treatment on the way and tell the hospital what is coming.

The centre provides health promotion, prevention and treatment. There are no inpatient beds and no doctor permanently on site; for anything beyond that the centre works with the district hospitals.

If you would like to speak with him, sit by the village road early in the morning and offer him food as he passes. Offering food to the monks is how merit — บุญ — is made, and it is what keeps the temple going. Ask him to accept it, and he will give his blessing.
